typical courses have one or two sanctioned events a year, and most local players treat them as the "super bowl" for that course. So for me, it's great to play casually between the sanctioned events...

Yeah, stuff i'd normaly sell on here for $12 I sell at club weeklies for $8, essentially writing off the cost/hastle of packaging and shipping (which keeps getting more expensive).
