All I really want is a single driver. MVP Volt would be great, but I'd settle for an Innova Beast or something similar with a GPS chip. Basically, a disc for those holes that are long, wide open, and...

That's a good point. We didn't really need funding for the juggling club, so that thought never bothered us.

The thing you didn't mention that makes a big difference in this story is if you had your name/number on the disc. If you did, it was a jerk move on his part to write his name on it. If you didn't,...

Alot of the college clubs I've seen (not disc golf, just clubs in general) don't limit it to just students. I like that idea. Usually, most of the members will be students, but you can still grow...

You said you often miss left or right. Oftentimes people who spin putt or "throw" instead of actually putting have a higher chance of missing left or right while push putters have a higher chance of...

This is very important to remember. On DGCR, your assumptions might be right. Of all disc golfers, I'd say a majority don't throw past 275. Serious. You gotta realize we've got alot of great disc...

Mike C, I'm surprised you didn't mention the MVP Tangent. For higher power throwers it's got a gradual right turn, but dead straight with no fade for a lower powered throw. I also love it for finesse...

Ya, I think "don't try and watch the disc" would be better advice than keep your head down.

As for me, if I release early, it's usually grip. If I release late/to the right, it's usually my...

See, I've always known that as a different variety of a pancake. The scooby slider I've seen is with a traditional backhand putt motion, just the disc is upside down and you slide it across the...

Now I'm kinda curious as to how far someone could throw a grenade. We need a big arm to test this out. I'm pretty sure I'd have trouble getting passed 150'.

Pretty sure the #1 Driver was the disc I learned to play the sport with. They had some decent discs, just didn't expand enough with their lineup and plastics.

I believe that shot is considered a pancake. I really like throwing my Zone on an extreme anny upside down for a technica/finesse approach or putt. It flexes out, doesn't go far, and lands flat near...

I always prefer keeping different tees same par for simplicitys sake, but there are times where it's definitely necessary. I've seen holes that pretty much doubled in length from red to white/white...

Nihilist, there's one thing I think alot of people forget or don't realize. Throwing far requires two things, technique (form, mechanics, timing, etc.) and arm speed (fast twitch muscles, not bulk)....

I know the birdie bash I went to (2014) had drink coaster minis. They were flat, with little rubber bumps on top and the Vibram logo. So, it says I drink?

I'm really curious as to how well those turf tees work. Also how well they would hold up. It just seems with the gravel directly underneath, it would tear through the turf over time, but maybe not....

It was really interesting my only time playing as super cali was on our club's worst disc day. Since it's worst disc, you need an extra throw every lie to give the same amount of chances to screw up....

I think super cali where someone gets two shots per lie is a bit ridiculous. I do like the idea of two extra shots per hole however. And as far as fairness goes, it really just depends on the player....
