I like the idea of short holes, especially slight downhills that have OB on the back of the hole. That forces a real risk reward drive.

On the flip side, I like longer holes that have to carry OB and have the basket close to the edge. So you really have range well to carry and still land close. If you go to far past then you have a risky putt or approach back to the basket.

I also like mounds and patches of brush/tall rough gaurding baskets.
