They're pretty overstable when they're new and they're so damn durable that I do see how their range is more limited for a lob putter, but even spin putters are talking about how the Anode will be their savior for longer putts and turnover drives. I think aggressive spin putters and less aggressive lob/push putters are basically on equal footing here.
FWIW I consider myself a pop putter/short arm pitch style where I keep my arm in line but still bend the elbow a bit and rely on finger spring and palm push and incorporate more wrist and weight shift for long putts and the Ion works just great!
