Fort Bragg isn't going to be ideal if you are trying to play hilly/wooded courses. You might as well spend the couple extra hours on the road and come play Humboldt courses. There is the Redwood Curtain up in Arcata, that fits what you are looking for 100%. You should also try to see if you can get an appointment to play Birds Of Paradise, it's not allways easy, but it is one of the most beautiful courses in the country.
