I hold it exactly the same as I hold every other disc I throw. I think that putters tend to be more sensitive to OAT and speed. In my experience I have turned over putters a lot more then any other disc and it is usually a result of me having improper rhythm in my form. I'm not 100% certain but I believe that putters do the exact opposite of hiding form flaws and show you exactly what you may be doing wrong; i.e. wrist roll, nose angle, rhythm etc... I always try to be even smoother with putters then any other disc and it gives better results; for me at least, just my .02
