I think the term 'prototype' is misused in this case anyway. How many of these are out there? Wouldn't these be 'first runs' as opposed to 'prototypes'?
Perhaps Prodigy is releasing their first run labeled as prototypes, and their second run labeled as first runs, just to make more money.
