No, I'm sure the weight distribution is even larger than that.. It was just a generalization for my point, but even if it was smaller, say 5% the effect would still be noticeable compared to non gyro discs (discs with less weight in the rim) this is based off my basic knowledge of physics.. Simple math can show how a slight weight difference in the rim will produce more force in the axis of the spinning rim of any disc shaped object.

Go there and plug your numbers into the function. Then change your mass of gyroscope cut away this will give you huge changes in gyroscopic forces shown near the bottom by the diagram.

Don't take my word for it though.. Do your own math
