I felt exactly the same way. Really noticed it with my Anode which I never had neutron until winter (my proton was money after some use the slickness was gone where my neutron anode is still like brand new) which is great but damn slippery as there is less contact area from the plastic being so smooth where proton gets a rougher texture to me and aids in the tackiness. Neither are grippy compared to vibram, lat, innova baselines, and so on so its really splitting hairs anyways in a sense of actual grip. Hell the floppy putters make med. MVP discs feel like dinner plates. I don't really like rubbery grippy discs though so that's why I love MVP putters. Premium as they get IMO.
