First time I had played the course as I was on the way home from a business trip. I was playing conservative, hitting my windows true, and banged a couple longish putts. Was sitting at 24 after #9. Carded my only four here on #10. RHBH Opto River came out of my hand a wee bit late and I missed my intended gap across the deep gully to the right and hit a tree. Disc slid halfway back down into said gully. Upshot was blind and placed me on a bad line with a big old tree blocking any reasonable hope. Lay-up ten feet from pin was easy at least.
I did find two more birdies and finished at 50. I know I am capable of sub-50 on this course, but likely will not see it again anytime soon
That hole has a twin. Northwoods Park in Morton, IL #5. It's unbelievable how similar they are.
