I use them, yes. I know how far I throw each disc from field testing. Then, if I know the length, it makes me more confident in disc selection. The elevation changes and doglegs I have to take into account myself, obviously, but it's not a perfect system. Still, I don't like playing courses without posted lengths as much. But also I hate tee signs that suggest lines to take. Not that it relates to the topic at hand, but it's true.
