1 in my first year of playing, 11 in the first year I played at all seriously. I'm from California, but went to school in Indiana and dated a girl from Chicago with family in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma. You hit a lot of states driving to and from all those places. Now we're up to 18 states and 132 courses.

Probably one. There is an outside chance that I might have possibly played Rosedale that first year and that would make two, but it's more likely that I only played one course that first year and it would be pretty hard to hit multiple states playing just one course.

Hard to tell, it was a long time ago.

18 states thus far. I added North and South Carolina this summer. Went crazy on that trip and played 17 courses in Alabama and Georgia. Then I put my wife on a plane and I tore through the Carolinas playing 5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 7 in a six day stretch and then 2 more on the way back to the airport in Atlanta. Luckily, I was able to mix in enough 9 hole Rec courses so as not to completely exhaust myself. Charlotte, NC is a disc golf mecca. I spent three days just playing there. And now I see that they are developing even more courses.

Also my new Tomtom GPS saves so much time driving between courses. I highly recommend bucking up and getting one for anyone planning a road trip.

Then I made a quick two day trip south from home in Puyallup, Washington and played 6 new courses in Oregon and SW Washington.

Plus last weekend, I made a trip up to British Columbia, Canada and played 5 of the courses up there plus one more new one on the way. Had to add a foreign country.

So my total for this summer is currently 64 new courses played. And I plan on hitting another new one over labor day. And maybe a crappy little course on a nearby island. Catching the ferry over is a pain.

One of my goals is to play every course in Washington state (51 courses) but they're building courses quicker than I can get to them. There's three very new courses and two of them are at complete opposite ends of the state. And this is a fairly large state.
