First Run Innova Disc History

I hope that i'm not duplicating any previous posts. I've tried to find a list online, but it's tough to get info. Please let me know if anyone has a good resource.

I'm really interested in two things...

When were each Innova discs first released? Their First Run release.

What plastic were they first ran in?

The PDGA Tech Stadards document and Disc Golf Warehouse say 2001. I haven't been playing that long, and it is interesting to see discs that I assumed had been around forever but actually aren't really that old. Like the Coyote and Pig. Or discs I assumed had to be really old because that are OOP like the Bulldog, Goblin, and Gremlin.

How relevant is the first run anyways? Ive had a mamba for two or three weeks, but the "fr" didnt ship til yesterday.

I question some of those dates as well. Years ago I was the Disc sales guy for the Mighty MFA and Innova would send 'test' discs before they were released for feedback. I also ordered discs for the club from '91 - '94.

Some of the discs were well in use before getting PDGA approved. Mostly catch discs were being sold before they were submitted for approval.

I have some First Run CE Valk's custom stamped 2000. I think it was early 2000 also.
