I received an email from the Oak Brook Park District. It reads as follows:

"Just to let you all know that a contractor will begin removing trees in the project area on Tuesday, April 10th. Weather permitting, the work should be completed in six business days. There will be temporary closure of a few disc golf holes while the contractor is working in those areas. Signage indicating the temporary closure will be posted at the tee boxes. We will make every effort to reopen the course at the end of each work day."

That was one of the best days of discing I've ever had...

The three Ozark Mountain courses during the day, and the crystal city underground cave course at night. Good rounds with good people! Mad props Roman; and Alan (Allen?) at CCU.

Crystal city certainly seems interesting. Waiting to read your reviews....

Crazy jealous. Got 9 new today courses with my bro yesterday. I hit McNaughton 3rd, and thought he was done for the day about hole 12. When we finished and let him decided and he wanted to keep going, just nothing crazy hard. So I settled for the 9 holers up the Illinois River home. He was huffing and puffing walking up the small flight of stairs at the 9 holer in Marquette Heights. I fell down laughing I was laughing so hard. I was pretty sure that's where his adrenline kicked in and wanted to show me he can handle it. I just hope he can walk today.

Gotta go back to Peoria and get Bradley, Washington, Nothwoods, and the College still. But at least I'm down with the odds and ends in the area.

Potentially. They were discussing the layout which got off into a discussion about Disc Golf and Soccer Fields. Possibly installed by summer. I'll post when/if it happens.

Do you know who designed it?
