The big question is, why the heck does the Katana and Boss have TWO SETS of stats on that chart...and the LESS stable option is the champion??? Seriously, Innova. Stop throwing me. I'm supposed to throw you.

The Champion versions are more stable. The Champion Boss has a 0 turn rating (stable), compared to the -1 (slightly understable) rating for the other plastics. The Champion Katana is less understable (-2 vs -3), and thus MORE stable than the other plastics.

I would love to see more companies customize their ratings for different plastic types.

Just one more thing for people to complain about when it's inaccurate. It's fairly common knowledge that champ is the most durable and has the least glide, while DX/Pro D and Pro/Elite X type plastics have the best glide and least durability. Consistency is already such a problem for manufacturers that trying to give more precise details about the flight of their discs just isn't useful.

RE: retailers, I hate how half of my local DG store is speed 12 or higher drivers. Tons of new stuff... and the older stuff just keeps getting pushed out.

I have 30 archons to choose from, and 14 teebirds. That just ain't right.

maybe shops should keep all of the n00b fodder on the sales floor and have a super secret stash room in the back with all of the hidden gem molds. you'd have to prove your dg street cred or provide the secret word to gain access.
