I think theese videos would be great, if they were twice as long. For something called "Deep in the game" they are surprisingly basic. I didnÝt like how he mentioned the different angles, and then did not elaborate on it one bit. We know what hyzer and anhyzer means and what it does, but the apparent target audience doesn't. And if you are going to mention it, show us how to control it. The only thing he said was to keep the nose angle down for max distance, yet he doesn't tell you how to do that.

I hope that when they filmed these, they filmed a lot more, so they have more footage so they can reedit theese shorts to more comprehensice instructional videos. I would pay for that.

Something went wrong. Please make sure you added the video correctly. Click here to see how YouTube videos should be embedded. There could also be a technical issue that's not your fault. Click here to view the video on YouTube's site. If this link doesn't work, you did something wrong.

I think the depth they are referring too is more about the camera angles and technology they have used and will use to get deep into what they are saying. At least that's the impression I got from the trailer they released. Tough to tell from the first 2 episodes. Think they responded to someone on YouTube that they will have 2 episodes at the end that deal with more advanced instruction but they are catering to players with 0-3 years experience for the bulk of the videos.

these are videos you'd see being played on rotation in a retail store on a monitor next to the discmania rack. And they should be.

As far as him saying 'pivot on heel' and then he pivots on his toes. Someone mentioned this on the youtube page and Jussi(sp?) replied saying that spinning on the heel is for distance and that pivoting on the toes is for more controlled shorter shots.

to add...I don't think he actually threw a disc in that shot everyone is referring to.

Just by looking at the rest of his frame (the part of his torso you CAN see from that angle) it doesn't look to me like he threw a disc, it was just an approach for the camera basically.

I could be wrong though, maybe he threw a little upshot.

EDIT:

The shot im referring to is at 4:08...i guess you can't see his torso but the way his legs move it doesn't look like an actual momentum shift and throw to me.

Also he throws both ways, lol. Start watching at 3:18, where he heel pivots, then afterward on a more controlled shot he toe pivots. I'll buy the logic OKNate is putting out there
