otherwise they are just pro plastic and not all that O/S or durable)
I own a banshee but I feel its a bit too slow and I find myself going for a mid instead.

interesting

can you provide a further explanation?

I ask because your comment is that the Banshee is too slow so you go for a mid

but a Banshee is a "speed 7"

whereas, to my knowledge, mids are going to be in the "speed 4/5" range hence slower than the Banshee

I like either a banshee or exp1 1.7 for my slow over stable slot and a s-pd for my fast over stable slot. S-pd is a really reliable disc. It also bombs!

I used to throw and FL for this, but I might have to agree on the QOLF...it has become my go to for this now.

FL could work but i think there are some better options out there.. you just want a meathook or something on the workable side? I was throwing Champ Firebirds as my overstable meathook but i have switched over to the Pred since i can actually work lines with it.. but yeah i tend to agree with most on here .. QOLF, PD, Pred, etc. are all great solid choices

What about a Champ Viking? I'm kind of in the same boat, I throw a 168 pro Valk for the 330-360 range and I've been considering a slightly heavier champ Viking as a complement for headwinds and such.

S-PD would be my suggestion.
I throw a Champ Valk and a C-PD.
The feel of the two is really similar, but the PD is way more overstable.

Lump me in with the camp that you can probably do better than a FL. It's not an overwhelmingly good disc.

Yeah, that's a puzzler to me as well. Maybe he's looking for a straighter flight that the mid can give whereas the Banshee is more of a hooker.
