Ended up playing both. Duck Run was close so gave it a try, and would only go back if close.

Lake Shore was sweet and an awesome course minus all the goose sh*t.

Wish I would have seen this earlier, I would have sent you to Browns Farm in Fredonia, NY about 45 minutes away.

Fredonia is over an hour from Erie, FWIW. Up to an hour and a half, depending on what part of Erie you're talking about.
