Yeah, I agree with you on the flaw fixing. Working on getting the Annode past 300' will tell you a lot about your form.
Interesting you say that about the Comet. I was actually thinking of adding one to the bag and removing the beat Roc. I need a mid that actually flips up; the Acis just flies straight when thrown flat. While awesome, there are a number of holes I need that on. |

You should give the Fuse a shot for mid. If thrown flat the Fuse heads straight for about 150' before it start to drift gently to the right. (RHBH) Hyzer-flips nicely. I could get the Axis to make these shots but it was work, the Fuse simply does it for me. I'm guessing the Test Material Fuses would be an even faster fix.

Earlier you said that you werr looking for a disc that was slower and teebird like in flight, i love my 168 gram Trident. It goes strait and then ends quite hard. I also tend to get nice skips out of it or better yet where it rides the edge of the rim left for 15-20the ft or so.

I ended up settling on the FD. It's more like a TL than a Teebird, but it's got enough stability to be thrown in light winds. It's a fantastic line shaper, and if I need more of an overstable shot, I can throw my C PD or my XXX.

I got some new G9i Wizards in; these things are awesome for putting. However, they chunk way too easily. We'll see how long they last.
Axis is out, Rocs are back in. I really, really tried to get with the Axis, but it just didn't happen. I do still have a Vector in my bag though. I'll probably try out one of those star Ranchos that are out now though. The new addition is an S-TD. I'm hoping for long range rollers with this soon. --- 2x 168 Medium Wizards (one is new, one is thrashed, for putting, short approaches) 1x 175 Medium Ion (short drives) 1x 175 Medium Annode (short drives) 1x 177 dx Roc (Rancho, thrashed, finesse and midrange rollers) 1x 175 dx Roc (3-Ring San Marino, broken in, hyzer flip shots, midrange turnovers) 1x 180 dx Roc (Rancho, broken in, most straight and light hyzer midrange) 1x 180 Vector (midrange, overstable) 1x 174 Opto XXX (utility and midrange) 1x 175 D FD (right turning rollers) 1x 175 C FD (hyzer flip shots, very right turning drives) 1x 175 C FD (workable fairway shots) 2x 175 S PD (1 new, 1 broken in, for fairway distance flex, straight power shots, and flattened hyzers) 1x 175 P PD (1 broken in, for controlled distance) 1x 175 C PD (for fairway hyzers and wind shots) 1x 172 S TD (hopefully distance rollers) 2x 171 Z Nuke (for distance) 1x 175 C PD2 (for wind) |

All that said, I would probably consider putting the Axis back in my bag if MVP makes a midrange that is actually slightly understable. I can flip an Axis, but I don't want to throw it that hard, and find it gets unpredictable when I have to add torque to flip it.

*waiting to hear about the TD rollers*have you found D-Line FD's or MD2 in the U.S or did you need to order from overseas?

I got some double stamped ones sent to me.
The D FDs are definitely rollers. I don't think I could throw them through the air though; they're too flippy now. I managed to lose 2 of the 3 I have though . If you're looking for a quality roller disc that can get some distance in the air before hitting the ground, this is great, because they aren't coming out of a turn.I have some D MD2's I'd part with though. One is an 8/10 and the other 10/10 |

Vector finally got taken out. I started throwing one of those new star Ranchos, and it's plenty beefy while having the same feeling as my Rocs.
I haven't made it out to WyCo for a while, and Rosedale/Swope hasn't had it's roller pin placements set lately, so the TD hasn't gotten much use. It does go a long way in the air though. - - - - - 2x 168 Medium Wizards (one is new, one is thrashed, for putting, short approaches) 1x 175 Medium Ion (short drives) 1x 175 Medium Annode (short drives) 1x 177 dx Roc (Rancho, thrashed, finesse and midrange rollers) 1x 175 dx Roc (3-Ring San Marino, broken in, hyzer flip shots, midrange turnovers) 1x 180 dx Roc (Rancho, broken in, most straight and light hyzer midrange) 1x 180 Star Roc (Rancho, overstable midrange) 1x 174 Opto XXX (utility) 1x 175 D FD (right turning rollers) 1x 175 S FD (hyzer flip shots, very right turning drives) 1x 175 C FD (workable fairway shots) 2x 175 S PD (1 new, 1 broken in, for fairway distance flex, straight power shots, and flattened hyzers) 1x 175 P PD (1 broken in, for controlled distance) 1x 175 C PD (for fairway hyzers and wind shots) 1x 172 S TD (hopefully distance rollers) 2x 171 Z Nuke (distance) 1x 175 C PD2 (wind distance) |
