PDGA & KOA?

Has the PDGA ever tried to set up a program with KOA campgrounds before? It's great that our memberships get us discounts on rental cars and hotels, don't get me wrong. It just seems that dg roadtrips, weekend tourneys and camping all seem to go hand in hand for us pennyless discers. I would use that way more than the other perks.

Not griping, just wondering...

I live near by a KOA campground and have always wanted a course there. It's got lot of terrain and trees and would make for a sweet little course. Now just convincing the owner lol

I believe some of the early courses were in KOA campgrounds.

I believe the OP is asking about the PDGA getting involved with KOA to offer PDGA members a discount on camping while they roadtrip, although talking them in to installing courses would be cool, too.

Both seem like good ideas.

Thank you, and thank you. This could be a partnership made in heaven....
