Sure, Chicago is fine golf, but I'd consider it more of an "if you're in the area" kind of a place rather than "destination area" especially since you've already hit LL and RL. Not saying you can't have a good time at that grouping of courses, My recommendation (for this or future trips of a similar length) - Iowa, either Quad Cities, Des Moines, or Iowa City. Or Omaha, Peoria, Peru IN, Ft Madison IA.

Enjoy your time in Joliet and watch out for the locals around that area...

I'm curious as to your comment about the locals, are you referring to the crime in some of the areas?

Just a shot at any of the locals that may want to meet up with OP, not in seriousness. Though I'm sure there's certain locals you'll probably want to watch out for in any area you go to...

Especially Chris - he'll drop so many 2's on the card that you'll walk away feeling like a pathetic excuse of a disc golfer.

Edit: Chris is good dude and it would be helpful to have someone guide you around West Park - it's not the easiest to navigate the first time through.

LOL, i was on my game first round that day. Joliet area is fine, you will always have chuckers at highland and west park, but round barn is usually pretty clear.

I also know all the good lil spots for lunch too.
