My 175 S Ion acts like a baby Vector. I like it for certain upshots mainly, and there are a few shorter holes I like to drive with it. I'd imagine I carry it for similar reasons you carry both a Vector and a Buzz for example.

BTW if anyone has a maxweight opaque blue soft Proton Ion they would like to sell I would buy one or two.

I agree that new Ions aren't very good for putting. I use an old soft opaque textured Ion for driving and a Neutron Anode for putting. A soft N Anode might push the Ion out, but that doesn't exist.

It's one of the stampless ones. Is this something that's common in the unstamped Axes?
Won't be able to throw it for a few days but I'm betting it'll be understable from the lack of dome.
My question got buried back pages ago. This is why people make new threads.

So, is my super flat N Axis a rarity?

I'm thinking it's just a matter of time...

Someone just made their domey N Axis flat with hot water, so I'm not sure I'd call it a rarity. Sounds like most have come out domey so far though. As I understand Chad likes the Axis fairly flat, so I'm guessing that as more N Axis are run we will see them more closely resemble their proton brethren in shape as MVP learns the nuances of molding N plastic.

You can get them from Dynamic Discs. They have an exclusive deal on the only run. MVP is not sure about going into production.

They have soft Ions, not soft Anodes.

My blue Axis is flat, flies dead straight with 0 fade. I hope more come out like this.
