Sorry to say it and I have 50+ rounds there this year and love it but the course needs to be shutdown with all the punk kids trying to take baskets out.
The cage on Hole 6 was busted off it, likely someone was standing on it. At first I thought it was just someone sticking sticks into the basket to be stupid. I have been seeing this a lot recently as well, sticking sticks in the cage or chains. I thought about pulling them out until I realized it was holding up the cage. I was there on Sunday and I do not remember anything wrong with 13 so that must have been very recent. I do not know about shutting down the course permanently, but I would definitely agree that it should be done as a shock factor. I know that will piss off a lot of walk-up players and hopefully make them more vigilant and aware.

I keep hearing that it was going to be shut down, cleaned up, and then made pay to play. I hate to say it because the area still needs some decent free courses, but if that is what it takes to clean this place up, then so be it. The problem is that the course too urban, meaning that it will always attract rec players, some who have no clue that it is PtP despite the signage.

Hole 13 happened 2 months ago, so the dirt is back down to normal levels after lots of rain and people fixing it. It is a sad deal going on there.

Gee, I think I'll steal a basket to practice putting. I'll just need to move and make all new friends.

I agree the course should be pulled for the rest of the year, possibly forever. That place has become a joke lately.

I appreciate the support BJ!!! All the talk about possible money put into the course, the course shutting down to revamp has been all bs. The city needs to pull it to run the $hitbags off

Now Kaposia #18 on the winter course has been unscrewed per Chris Oorlog on facebook. Unreal that someone had the balls to do that in broad daylight and they got away with it.

Is it not pay-to-play in the winter?

Its only pay to play from like April 1st-October 1st. They leave the baskets in though year round. So 6 months free and 6 months pay
