I am imagining it as being a slightly less HSS fuse-like mid, though I am not experienced with Westside's rating #'s and how they relate to their discs.

I was actually the one that bought those swords, and I love them. I haven't had any problems with the lower weight. They fly like....well, swords. I didn't notice much difference in stability, and they just carry a little longer. They were almost brand new when I bought them, and the one that I throw is just starting to break in. Pretty much the same rate as my max weight swords. If I saw another sword under 160, I would buy it without hesitation.

To stay on topic though, my vote went to the new westside molds. Let's get some westside schwag too while we're at it

I've heard they've been fondled in Swedish hands for about a week, but you are definately the first in the states
