I still do not understand why they need to make airlite.

If they are able to make discs in GL and Opto less than 160g by mistake, then figure out how the mistake happened and replicate that process.

Seems logical enough to me, why spend more money on production equipment to make airlite?
But then again, what do I know. I work in a cube.

Consistency. Rather than try and replicate a mistake, and possibly not succeed, just get it right all the time.

the air technology helps to maintain the intended stability. Lighter discs on accident or without air tech do not fly the same.

Tridents have a wide wing 1.9cm.. almost the same as an XXX 2.0. It's just much more blunt nose, so the speed rating is lower.

They flew like swords but domier/poppy top. I dropped everything faster than speed 10 for a while and needed money so I sold them. I may go back to the mold if they make some brighter TP colors like pink or white.

Straight from Westside's website:

"Thanks to our Latitude 64's license to use their AIRô technology in all our VIP plastic discs, we are planning to release Westside VIP AIRô Giant, Westside VIP AIRô Sword, Westside VIP AIRô Warship and Westside VIP AIRô Stag in March 2013."

Go ahead and discuss among yourselves.
