The courses in Rochester are worth the drive. Its only like an hour and a half.

Thank you. It's looking like we'll have our pick of several decent places.

The wife and kid aren't TOO afraid of some tougher courses. They did play Deer Lakes (and enjoyed it), after all. They're good little troopers in that way.

Rochester is about 2.5 hours from Erie, PA. Unfortunately, that's too far for us on this weekend. Next summer we'll probably make that trip several times.

If you want a tough, but nice looking course hit up Emery. It's cool, but a little more walking than most courses.

A little further north and east of Niagara Falls is Wilson-Tuscarora SP. Very underutilized but a fun course particularly if you like tunnel shots. The course was tweaked a bit two years ago and it makes for a more interesting course. I mention this because Joseph Davis can get pretty busy on the weekends.

At this time of the year its free to get into the park and play. Sunday at Ellicott is our Ace Race which is probably going on till 4 if you planned on going that day.
