Haven't really kept up with the forums in a while. By the time I got back around to it DGR was quiet as a mouse.
It looks like in that amount of time a lot has changed. I knew you were a big MVP guy, but NO buzzzes anymore? What did ya do with all of em?

I have a tough time getting snap on heavy/wide rimmed discs. Ever since I got my Blizzard Bosses (which I can get snap on) the wide rimmed discs in the 170s feel wrong to me. I'm messing with a Villain in the fast overstable slot.

It's complicated...I used to throw Buzzzes so much that my whole bag and throwing style was based around them. When the Vector and Axis came out I found that I really had to take a break from my Buzzzes to get comfortable and be able to do what I wanted with them. Once I had been without them for a while I didn't really miss them.

never thought i'd see the quasar be off your list. lol, nice quick fix on that overstable 'vision!'
i finally threw a mamba today and i was very impressed. such easy turnover distance. i'm also liking the swords in both plastics. i do agree that the vip version is a thing of flying beauty.

Yeah, I kind of realized that the first run Quasars I got (stiff, domey, overstable) aren't that representative of the Quasar mold as a whole and I was just using it for that overstability. I still have a couple though, and if I was playing on a ball golf course or something where it was going to be long, open, and windy I would probably bag one of those FRs.
The Sword is one of the discs that I knew from the first toss it was going in the bag. I went back and grabbed like 6-7 identical backups and I'm still on my first one. This will be my control distance driver for the forseable future (at least until MVP makes something similar, and they really liked my Sword's profile and flight when I showed them/let them throw it...though Chad hit a DJ at a pavilion with my VIP).

I got the Volt and it's already shaking things up...Also, I've been throwing all my new and old mids and I've narrowed down what to carry.
Putters 2x172 Eclipse Soft Anodes--Putt and Approach 1x173 Eclipse Soft Anode--Putts/long approaches 1x175 Neutron Anode--Drives/long approaches in wind Mids 1x178 FR green Axis--Understable/touch mid 2x176 Neutron Axis--Flat, fast, and super straight 1x178 FR Vector--beaten into straightness--best approach and turnover disc in wind 1x174 Neutron Vector--Fast, straight, predictable fade...almost a fairway, great for anny release S turns 1x176 Neutron Vector--Fast and overstable Control/Fairway drivers Volts...Still not sure which of my 4 will stay in the bag...Eventually I'd like a beat and newish one in there 1x174 GL Villain--slightly overstable control driver 1x175 Opto Villain--overstable utility and headwind distance driver Distance Drivers 1x175 Champ Mamba--hyzer flips/turnover drives and lots of utility 1x169 VIP Sword--neutral distance driver, longer than 175s 2x175 VIP Swords--new and seasoned, most straight/control distance drives Max/Open D(rarely carried, only long/open courses) 1x155 Blizzard Wraith--tailwinds and long turning shots 1x156 Blizzard Boss--Max S turn D

How long are your volts vs max d discs?
I've been putting Neutron Anodes since they came out but checking out your setup made me give my Soft Eclipse Proton a shot. Felt nice in the cooler weather. They performed equally but the soft felt nice towards the end of the day when it was colder
