Been taking things from RR's for 30 years , who knew... (still gonna do it) but thanks for the warning. I guess the point is that there are ton's of legal ways to secure baskets in to their hole...and the concrete into the surrounding ground. Of course, we all know that usually 2 pairs of vicegrips can remove any hardward/pole... lol.

Saw this done on a a course and couldn't believe some of the baskets were still there. It would have been a piece of cake to steal them.

i ever i wanted to steal a basket, i wouldnt be so stupid as to dig it up. id be lazy, i would get a cordless angle grinder and cutting wheel. yea some noise but id be out of there in two jiggles of jack rabbits ass.
maybe this is planting bad ideas in criminal minds but i guess if your dumb and selfish enough to steal a basket you would be dumb enough to try and dig it up
