I linked to a pdga.com description a few posts ago. Also google for "What happened to Cameron Todd" and read the ning.com thread. There's a couple descriptions in there.

PDGA can do what they want. Just be glad they aren't like roger Goodell. It could be worse.

I like Cam, and I'm very aware what this game does to a person. Still no excuse for blasting VOLUNTEERS.

The Supreme Court ruled, I don't know, about 70 years ago, that private companies can operate the way they want in terms of freedom of speech with it's clients / members.

This is no different than any sports league when a player criticizes officials and they are suspended and or fined.

Word im suprised that nothing has happened to ken climo i hear he is full of duschbaggery and voices it frequently. Not that i care one way or another. If your gonna ban someone might as well fine them too so the sport can get their money.

He's the champ. Tiger Woods, at one point, was the most fined golfer for his outbursts that are usually edited out of broadcasts. You don't bite the hand that feeds.

Ken is actually a really good guy.

But in the end, literally everyone in the top 100, except maybe 4 people, have acted very poorly at some point in their career.

It's the road, man.

There was this awesome clip I saw one time where the Ramones were in Europe in a museum taking video of all this really, really cool stuff. They pan around and eventually focus on Dee Dee, who looked like he was in Hell. All he said was "I want to go home."

That sums up the road. You head out thinking you are going to live this thing that you love, this thing that you want to spend your life doing. Before long, you can't even remember what that thing was. All you see is the road. That damn road that never ends. Anybody who has been in a band driving around all summer not showering, sleeping in a van and eating baloney on hand becasue you couldn't afford a loaf of bread knows that road. It's the road that you get on becasue you love something, but by the end the ride makes you never want to do that thing you loved ever again.

It's like the Springsteen line: "Is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse? Once you give up on the dream, it ain't pretty.
