HOD 1/6/2013: Iroquois Park, Louisville Kentucky

Iroquois Park, Louisville KY
Rating: 3.67
Reviews: 21
Terrain: Mostly Flat and Moderately Wooded

Hole 17, 333 Feet
Hole Tip from Adam H: With the side walk just left of the basket it's easy to go for the green and end up OB or hit a tree and kick left OB. The safe shot is a big RHBH hyzer up and around the trees, but unless you have a cannon it's tough to get birdies like that.

Early Run Opto Striker on the big hyzer route, Zero Line Spike to clean up (hopefully for 2 or a sad 3)

Or Legacy Patriot thrown on a hyzer flip route straight down the gut, same clean up as above.

If you play this hole with the locals, make sure you understand that left of the sidewalk is OB. Even though the sign doesn't say it is OB and even though the tee pad is OB.
I was told this in a tourney after I landed left of the sidewalk.
I asked why it wasn't announced at the players meeting and why it wasn't on the sign.
I was told that everybody just knows its OB.

Rhbh champ mamba up the gut. Fun course... probably one of the least memorable holes on the course.

Run the basket with a Pinnacle Rival. Finish up with whatever putter I happen to have with me.
