Testing of some of this stuff could be a cool component of worlds. A couple of non competitive "test nines" for each division with some seperate simple prizes could be a nice break from the competitive grind that is the rest of the tornement.

The main place it would be tested is the USDGC, seems that is where everything gets tested out on the pros.
I doubt it will, but if it were to be tested at a high level, that'd be the tourney and place.

"Over 11 NBA seasons, journeyman forward Brian Scalabrine cultivated an image of a regular guy who just happened to play basketball. Eventually, many fans came to believe that Scalabrine was an Average Joe, not an elite athlete (as all NBA players are), and figured that he probably wasn't that great at the profession that earned him tens of millions of dollars. This summer, Scalabrine said that he resented this suggestion (even if he also heartily embraced the regular guy image), and in December he challenged any Boston-area amateur basketball players to games of one-on-one." |

It appears he played the four matches consecutively. The first challenger was a D1 forward at Syracuse. The fourth challenger played D3 ball in RI. The second two I'm not sure about but they both got shut out.
He looked like he was playing a real casual game (never saw him play in the NBA so I can't compare) but his footwork and court/body positioning and overall play was head and shoulders above everyone. Just a showcase of the difference. hrmm I have an idea.

the difference between low level NBA and top level NCAA (non NBA) is crazy. Difference between Low Level D1 and high level D3 is crazy. Difference between low level D3 and HS ball is crazy. I've experienced the difference watching all these in a 3 on 3 tourney between friends, and it was eye opening.
