Chicago to Bowling Green
So the boy and I will be going to BG ams, we are leaving Chicago area on Thursday morning and heading to Bowling green. What are a couple good courses that are on the route to play?
Also if anyone is headed that way I will have some space in the soccermom mobile to offer a ride. |

make a stop in the suburb of Chicago, Joliet. There are a handful of courses with some awesome holes you will be sure to remember. There is some great elevation at highland park and west park is (iirc) the oldest park in Illinois
I would be willing to meet you depending on the work schedule to throw a round or 2

We are staying in Naperville on Wednesday night I think (the wife has family there so we are leaving her and the girls to shop and eat pizza for the weekend), planning on leaving decently early on Thursday morning, I've heard good things about Joliet so I think we can make a round there happen.

Lemon Lake, IN is not far from Chicago and fairly close to I-65, that complex (4 courses) might be your best choice all the way to KY.

Near 7 bridges golf club, no idea how close that is to downtown (we live in Minneapolis).
Lemon lake might be too ambitious for us, with an 8 hour drive, I figure we really only have time for a round or 2, and I'd love one of them to be later in the trip (like about halfway if possible) |

There are some nice courses around Louisville, Seviren Lang and Charlie Vettiner are probably the best in that area. You're also missing out big time if you don't get Holler in the Hills while you're down that way.
