Mike? Pick Jenny and I up on the way through.........sigh..........I'm jealous, I plan to head out to MD, VT, PA and whereever else this summer. I don't remember what their names are, but it looked like vermont had some very picturesque courses.

Sorry Matt, the car is full of stuff. 8 days on the road = 31 courses so far.

Maine

Maine:

Pleasant Hill (Scarborough, ME) Nice clean course, good if your bringing your girlfriend or inexperienced friends. Don't expect alot of difficultly

Woodland Valley ( Limerick, ME) I bit off the beaten trail but well worth it. 2 courses plenty of variety between them both. Open year round, Course owners some of best in state

Sabattus disc golf (Sabattus, ME) Arguably the best place to play in state...unless you ask a every-weekend-another-tournament player. 4 courses from putt-putt to pro level. Beautiful layout with A+ maintence. Bit expensive ( 8/round 10/day... and premium plastic discs are ~20 bucks.

I can suggest more if you want to travel more then 2 hrs north of the border.

If you intend to travel along I-90, the NYS Thruway, you'll pass by some good courses around Rochester. Parma & Basil may be the most popular. Basil is tight and technical and Parma is open and technical and long. Heading west from there, Shore Winds at Lakeside Beach SP is not to be missed, especially the Blue course. Stunning views overlooking Lake Ontario. Darien Lake SP is a short drive off the Thruway and although its still a work in progress, its a challenging bet. The rough there can be ROUGH, but much more user friendly when the trees and brush is bare. Still further west, there are several courses close to the Thruway in and around Buffalo, NY that are worth a look. Beaver Island SP, Como Lake Park, Chestnut Ridge are all worth a stop. And a little further south is Western NYs Jewel, the Black Diamond at Emery Park. And finally a little further west there is Evangola SP. An oft overlooked but very nice course.
