Avon Colorado area

Hi all,

I'm going to be in the Avon, CO. area the last part of May, and was lookiong for suggestions on which course(s) to play. Any ideas from the masses? I've looked through the course directory on here and some of them look promising. I just want to get the best "bang for my buck" as this will be my first Colorado discgolf experience.

I'll chime in. Last part of May you may be hard pressed to find a course in the Avon area open as they pull them for the winter and it just depends as to when they get them back in the ground. Batchelor Gulch is in Avon, Beaver Creek Resort is close as is Adventure Ridge on Vail Mountain,but they may not be available to play. Snow depth is low as of now so they might open up earlier but don't count on it. Peak One down in Frisco is at a lower elevation and should be open at that time. They may not even pull that one in winter, a local can correct me if i'm wrong. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

I thought Eagle co Fairgrounds was pretty fun, if you can find your way around, seems like that would likely be playable.
