Well they are different shapes. The Saint is a straight line laser type. The Shock is a flat then fade type

Gotcha. Ima guess then, that the saint has less of a power requirement. In my experience with saints, they fly straight and fade softly, compared to say a pd olf or avenger. A 400' throw with a shock likely would turn a saint on the same throw right?

For me this is true even with the Opto saint , Volt combo. If im not careful about form and power and wind my saint can end up 50-100 feet forward and to the right of where I am aiming. The Volt fades back better and is more point and shoot but likely a bit less distance potential in the right conditions.

I'm looking forward to trying another degree of stability when my shockers gut here

He is right to a degree. The shock, when thrown by Mike C, looks almost exactly like my volt when I throw it. It sounds like some shorter distance throwers have their amp behave like my volt when they throw it (or like Mike's shock). So I'd say that statement is fairly accurate. Not that there's anything wrong if that is in fact the case...wasn't that the point of these discs?
