Use the Wizard for those under 200' shots. It can handle almost all your approach duties. Keep the Fuse and Gator. Great discs for what they do. Pick the Core or the Buzzz. Drop the Pain if you flip it do easily. Although I have never flipped a Pain.
![]() With your OS putter, US Fuse, OS Gator and either a Core or Buzzz you should have every shot covered. Throw less and get better at what you throw.

I do love my opto max weight core! I have found it able to do just about any shot i really need, flip to flat, hold a anhyzer, left to right, right to left, full hyzer... what a disc! Also found out that if you throw it with a slight nose up it should hold a strait shot as long as you dont piwer it up too much.
Now i just need to be able to throw all of those shots concistantly so i can drop half of my mid collection!

I faced the same struggle you did. But instead of finding a mid I realized my putters took the place of the mids on shorter approaches now. A putter is far less likely to skip than a mid, but it requires a fan grip vs a power grip for me. I carry a Rhyno 150-275 strong fade, Wizard RFF 150-275 straight, Spike Zero 150-275 turn over, and I putt with a Warlock.
I still use my mids for low line tree shots that I need glide and a soft throw on, the Fuse will go 200' with a smooth gently fan grip straight as an arrow, or Power grip and snap with some loft for a huge turnover shot 300+ that just keeps turning and gliding right. I am so pleased with my Goldline Lat64 mids. I have thrown the Shark, Rocs, Buzz, Wasp, Stingray, and so many others, but they just don't seem to fit me as well as the latitude group of 3 do. Mids: GL Pain 178 (250-300) GL Core 180 GL Fuse 178 |

Here is one solution, you don't have to carry a bag like the pros do. There is nowhere that says you have to carry 3-4 putters, 3-4 mids, 3-4 fairways and 8-10 max d drivers. Playing winter golf I have change it up a bit, summer carry 4 putters, winter 3 1 for only putting, one stable one flip mode. Mids went from 2-3 to 5, a comet for us, ghost for straight, 2 buzzz 1 more stable than the other and a 08 drone. Summer carry a couple eagles, leopard and cheetah, now carrying 2 leopards, 1 kc cheetah and sidewinder. Summer carry tons of drivers now carrying a flash, predator and wraith. Been playing better with a small bag.

I'm glad I'm not alone on this. I carry...
180 S Element - Great for anny lines and tight upshots 180 * Ontario Roc - Tail-wind or mild cross-wind drives ~300ft 180 Glo Buzzz - Laser beam drives and long approaches with low-to-moderate winds 180 E Karma - Flex shots or windy conditions They all act so different, so I have a hard time taking any of them out of my bag. |

I carry 4 mids, 2 of which aren't mids.
ESP Zone-overstable FLX Buzzz-slightly overstable/stable (it has a more consistent fade at the end than other Buzzzes I've thrown and holds a hyzer better, which I really like, but it can still go straight or be thrown anny) GL Fuse-understable X Stratus (4 or 5 years old and it shows)-stupid understable. Hits lines no other disc can and can accomplish these lines at very low power levels. Hyzer flip turnovers that never fade back. |

Let's all suggest a new mid that isn't in his bag! Have you tried a LE Z Drone?!

...and more readily available as well. Main differences are that the Drone is slightly longer, and when thrown into a headwind the Drone will go straight with hardly any fade while the Zone will still have a healthy fade. Also the Zone has a shallower rim, which I find better for forehands. I used to love the Drone and still have multiple Z and base plastic ones, but once I started using the Zone there was no need to carry a Drone. |
