Thanks for the advice, I played a round today and was really getting them dialed in! Slowed it down and moved the thumb forward on the disc. Some really nice flights!

like already said, smooth is far... also try playing with nose angle. a lot of people throw putters like their distance drivers and wonder why they don't go far.

I throw my putters exactly like a distance drive, except I give them more height. Do you have any videos of you throwing? That can help.

I use Pro Pigs for putter driving...after much expermintation I've found (and this applies to all putters I;ve driven with) that the keys are smooth release, height, and not trying to put too much stank on it. Slow down your arm speed a bit and it shouldn't flip on you.

I agree that as you're learning putter drives you'll want to slow it down, but your end goal should be to be able to throw them as hard as anything else in your bag. You can see and hear the oomph I'm putting into these 300-350' drives and the Wizards held the line beautifully. They're great driving putters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OvRcliUUWs

I use the fork grip when driving putters. I can't get a smooth release with a power grip, and have a hard time keeping the nose down enough with a fan grip. In my opinion, Neutron Anodes/Ions and Star Aviars work great.
Also, Mike C, I'm super jealous of your 300'-350' putter drives.

How strange. Not you all. Just that I was throwing my G9i and Champion Rhino, along with a DX Roc, and a ESP Buzz, right before I sat down to this forum. Now the Wizard is stiff, much stiffer than the new Champion plastic Rhino. I could not keep my self from either "throwing oats" or flubbing the grip. I'm all eager to get back out there after reading these posts.
