I really liked the Rival, but for my bag I prefer a good stable PD and an Escape.

Saw some Rivals in the non-first run stamp on eBay. Are these production runs less stiff then the First Runs?

they are supposed to be. my first run I've been using has gotten a lot softer compared to the other first run I haven't been using.
