I just did my first trade this week, I mailed the disc in a 10x13 large envelope, but first I put the disc in a file folder to add some stability to the envelope, folded the top part of the envelope down around the disc then taped the envelope with heavy packing tape. I heard it got there in good shape.

I guess if multiple discs are sent I'll re-think how I send them.

I have been seeing the same thing. Even in bubble mailers. Its cold up here in Minny. I am assuming that is the reason. I just run some warm water over it. Problem solved.

If I'm mailing 2 discs in a bubble mailer (I always use the 10.5' x 15" mailers from Scotch), I put the flight plates together. Not sure why, may be a (perhaps deluded) notion that they're more protected from puncture that way.

I was getting single discs through as large envelopes, but they got wise to the "Do Not Bend" I was writing on all my envelopes.

I get mine in bubble package flat rate, or manilla envelope with bubble wrap around the disc or in a flat rate box with either packing paper or bubble wrap. I've yet to have any discs come warped. even if its two stacked. just stacked with a layer of bubble in between the two discs, not flight to flight either , and nothing has happened to them.

"do not bend" translated to usps lingo means bend for fun... Never write/stamp that!

We are talking about plastic after all, bend it back.

If it really can't be bent, spend the extra on shipping.

I have started adding ziplocks around multi disc orders, Mostly to prevent scuffing. Knock on wood, but I have never had one come so bent It could be fixed by leaving on the truck hood for an hour. Most of the time if they are bent, it is almost unnoticeable. Although after reading this tread I may add some cardboard in with the bubble mailers for added support.

I've shipped probably 50 discs in the past 3 months. I put them in bubble mailers and write Do Not Bend all over them. I haven't had one single complaint.
