I would skip Hippodrome in favor of other ATL based courses, including NGCT, which I haven't played, but have only heard awesome things about.

NGCT is pretty much the best course in NEGA. I live 35-40 minutes away and I would hop in but I have 2 tests next week so I'll be in the library.

I would also check out Perkerson Park inside the loop. It just had a redesign and it's pretty good. They just don't have the next tee signs or permanent teepads in yet. (They have a tourney on Feb 24th too if you're interested.)

thanks for the info guys, NGCT is definitely on the radar as its only 35 minutes or so from where i am staying so i plan on hitting it on a random day, i will hit hippo since i am staying overnight in augusta after i do idgc...on another note it was a beautiful day at fort yargo today

Come out tomorrow to NGCT if you can (SUN) for 3rd SUN doubles which starts at noon - I'll comp your entry if you show up and even though it doesn't have all the greenery of spring, it is still a pretty challenging course.

Please make sure to introduce yourself if you do show.

In case Keith doesn't check this tonight, yes. Turnout has varied the last couple months between about 16 and 40. This course is absolutely worth your time--some really unique holes, beautiful scenery, and challenging (but fair). Also, ace fund is over 200 right now... Start time is noon, signup usually about quarter 'til.
