So I've heard similar things on all of the First Run's of MVP's drivers <edit...that they're not consistent>. However, it seems like the later production runs have sorted out any issues. When will the "later run" Shocks be out? Or are they now?

I was merely replying to your question.
If that is a problem, PM me.

Got my "fixed" Shocks today, probably won't be able to throw them till tomorrow tho. Hoping they are more banshee-esque now, because all the banshees at GGGT are that ****ty champ plastic and I need a back-up.

Got my tester Shock Reduxes -- PLH comparison showed that the new ones were consistently high-PLH. I had a few earlier Shocks on my desk and compared -- one oldie had a lower PLH, and one oldie had a near-identical PLH to the new ones. So there are original Shocks out there shaped very much like the new ones. I imagine anyone who has been throwing the oldies with high PLH had few complaints about stability. ZJ's got a new one and will be testing it soon.

I hadn't seen any reports about any oldie looking similar to a newie, so there ya go. Again, the high-PLH oldie looks tasty-overstable just like the new ones.

Assuming I don't have a new Shock to compare mine to, how will I know where the PLH should be? Say, compared to a Volt?

Results: FR Shock was not wanting to hold the hyzer and wanted to turn over and finish right. New shocks were able to hold the hyzer the whole way through on a clean throw. On a flatter release aimed lower they wanted to stay very straight. On an intentionally OATy throw they would turn over a bit but visibly fight out of the turn before losing much altitude.

Based on my first impression it seems like they will be in between FR Shocks and Z Preds. I think everyone will be happy with them. I enjoy the FR Shocks but to me these will compliment the Volts better because I think there is a bigger stability difference between them.

PS no eta on a vid, computer isn't getting past POST.

Sounds perfect, can't wait for your first new batch Shock video. I hope Justin or DGC lets us know as soon as they get some of the new batch, hell maybe Justin will set up a preorder =)
