Cedar hill has two nice courses and its right up 35. I would say less then 25 to 30 minutes. And both courses are up there

Ahh sweet. I'll have much more free time, I think, during that part of my trip. Just hope I can convince one of my folks to drop me off.

You need to call and make a tee time. Some days, they have been full, or they have closed the course for a tournament or family emergency. Also, the gentleman who opens the pro shop, takes the money, and provides the cart rentals has other duties around the ranch. He doesn't just sit in the pro shop all day. So you need to make an appointment to pay and get the cart or there probably won't be anyone at the pro shop when you arrive.

That side of town, the best-rated closest courses are in Cedar Hill. Up Hwy287 north to US67
