I'm in the hugely wooded area of NC and I've looked for an MVP disc that will replace my Stalker. My Stalker works for me like a longer buzzz with a little more fade. I can throw it right around 300.
I've got a lot of holes I need to basically throw straight with little fade when thrown flat. If I could find an Anode like disc that I can get out to 300+ that'd be great. I'm leaving towards the Volt after reading most of this thread but also think the Axis might be better. Suggestions?

i think the volt may fade too hard for that. id go amp or axis or the new tangent before the volt. In my experience the volt needs some room to work to account for the fade.

I just dropped stalkers for axis-- they are not the same disc at all but work in the same ways. Stalkers are much faster, more like a volt in the speed but the flight is more similar to an axis (specially domey ones) Vector has a bit more low speed fade but similar HSS where the axis has good HSS but less low speed fade than a stalker and slightly less distance potential. If you are looking for a SLOWER stalker, then the axis/tangents will work.. if you are looking for a more driver-like stalker then a volt would be a good choice.
Stalkers are a odd tweener disc IMO where they are on their own level compared to other molds-- its like a buzz on steroids where the MVP discs are true to their designs. No MVP putter/mid will go as far as the stalker.

I think you'll just have to try a few of them, because for me the Volt is damn near laser beam straight with a little forward fade at the end.

my 169 is my favorite-- very neutral flight not flippy at all and some low speed fade when thrown flat.

this is true its just stalkers generally hold their release angles where the volt will turn/fade into them more. Volt is more fairway driver like than a stalker which flies like a very long and stable midrange. Any hyzer on my stalkers and it really didn't flip up to flat like the volt, rather just held that long swooping line. Its a true 0 where the volt is more -1/+1 (turn/fade)
