Hollywoods, when do they open the gates?

I was wanting to play disc golf on Sunday and I went up to hollywoods, but when I tried to get in there I got about halfway up and the road was gated.

When do they usually open that up for the season?

I also saw in the reviews here that you could park at a hotel on Dixie and pay 3 dollars? I couldn't really do that either though because I didn't have any cash. I saw a few places to park on the side f the road but that always worry's me, Im just not sure f Ill come back to my car and see a ticket or something.

The gate was open a few days ago but I've heard it was closed again. It should be open this weekend. Some friends are going to be having a small random draw doubles tourney out there Sunday and you should be welcome to join. I think I will be out there.

Id like to but I dont know if I can, I got st paddys day at my sisters house. Plus Im terrible still lol. What time are they going?

I believe I had read that parking on the road was a bad idea. Local sheriffs would ticket or tow your vehicle. Good call loki.

Thanks fishmich, that looks like a really fun event.

I would love to come but I have leagues on Sundays and this week it looks like a trip to Hudson Mills for me. So many prizes being given away at that event I have to believe a fun day will be had by all who show up.

Yeah I figured, I wasn't going to chance it. There were a couple cars parked on tindall but who knows.

Gates were closed this past saturday so we just parked at the hotel for $3 and carefully crossed Dixie Hwy to hole #10. We talked to a couple groups passing through and they were wishing they didn't park at the gate and walk the mile to the course.

Also had three hunters and a dog hunting around those monster holes in the back. We heard gunshots but didn't think they'd actually be hunting on the course until we came over the ridge and boom they were less than 50 yards away. They seen us and just turned around headed back out of the course.
