I was scared when I saw the PDGA.com news aggregate that you'd broken it. Glad you didn't up the ante too much. Still aiming for June for my go at it.

Right now doing 12 miles at under 7:30 pace. Hoping to be capable of running 25+ by the time June rolls around (I am planning on running some ultramarathons this fall, figured I may as well go for this as long as I'm in shape). Did you do much conditioning to prep your legs for your go at it?

Bahaha... Nice. I'm more than willing to ask advice from someone that has been there before. And if I succeed - would be more than willing to pass on anything I learn from the experience. About to go push 15 miles as soon as the temperature jumps above 40 degrees in an hour or so. I'm taking this serious.

Actually a second question, Mike: how long did it take for Guinness to get back with you initially? It says 4-6 weeks on their website, I'm at about 4 here in the next couple of days. :P

Whats up everyone. It's been a while since this has been talked about and such, but I wanted to let everyone know that I edited the footage we got, and put together two videos. One of a compilation, showing each hour, and another of my final round that I played in the 24 hour span. Check em out

The comparison between "sprightly running Mike" for the first couple hours, and "ready for the sweet embrace of death Mike" at the end is pretty hilarious.

Amazing accomplishment, congrats again!
