The water only comes into play from the blue tee to that basket. From the gold tee throwing it in the water would be a true feat of the worst throw someone has ever made and normally they have a basket up the dirt road and to the right. And the road to the right is OB

I have only ever played the Blue Tee because I like having the water in play I also have never played the short pin position, whenever I am there it is always in the long pin position. Last time I played I threw a Teebird from the Blue Tee to long pin position, ran a putt at it for 2 but missed, then had a easy drop-in for 3.

I realize everyone on the internet out throws the guys in this DGM video, but at 14:50 you can see how guys who don't throw as we do handle the long to long!!

At no time when I've stood on that tee is a putt for a 2 even in my mind -- Brinster . . . really? That's silly far.
