Michigan City, IN April 4th and 5th

Staying overnight in MI City, looking to play Rogers Lakewood on Thursday the 4th. Is there a playground/something for the kids to do in the park? I'd bring them golfing, but they're usually only good for 9 holes. Or is there a better option close by?

Other option is Lemon Lake, but I want to do that when I'd have all day and be able to play all 4 courses. I wouldn't likely be there until late afternoon and have to be in Valpo at 6:30.

Of course, if anyone want to come out and guide me, that would be awesome.

The issue is going to be weather but if it's warm take the kids to The Treehouse in Long Beach for dinner - we go there at least 5-6 times during the summer (http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-tree-house-long-beach) or since you're a zoo guy you can go to the Michigan City Beach Zoo (http://michigancityparks.com/index.php/zoo-home). You can get so close to the tigers that you can smell their breath.

Was thinking about it as a course for the kids to play. Yes/no?

After re-reading this, what I meant to say is I'll take a bite of her taco she orders from the restaurant. Not to say I won't do both
