Fontana is worth the drive...I took my family to Cherokee for several years in a row and we would always make a day trip over to Fontana. We would have 3, 4, 5 years with us and they could handle walking the entire course. Beautiful place to play.

Thanks Again.

Thanks for all the input everyone.
We're going with Cedarock, of course, to start.
Fontana while we're in Bryson City.
Ashe Co. on the way out of NC.
Harmon Hills or Sugaree as a maybe if it fits.
And Moraine (my fav) in PA during the final leg of the journey.

We also plan to hit the Blue Ridge Parkway - the coolest road in the Eastern US.
I highly recommend it to anyone driving N/S along the WNC/W VA corridor.

...and if you have a travel basket, set it up somewhere along the way. Me and my friends take a couple baskets out there and just throw between the two. You can make your own course, haha.
