Heading to Scottsdale AZ April 15-18th

I posted this in the Arizona Courses thread but maybe this is a better place for it.

Im taking a 3 night 4 day company paid Vacation to Scottsdale from April 15th-18th and I would like to play at least one rd while i am there. We are staying at the Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch. is there anything close to there that is a must play? I know that Fountain Hills isnt too far. anything else? I might have time on the 15th when I land, around 130. i wont have a car, but could take a taxi. anyone wanting to show me around? Also, what will the weather be like? I really would like to add a few courses to my list. I am definitely looking for a local who will be free any of those days i will maybe get to play one or two rds in total and they may both have to be on the same day. Any and all responses are appreciated.

Not a local but I had a much better time playing vista in Scottsdale over fountain. There was just way to much foot traffic at fountain hills for me I guess. You could easily play both in the same day tho

Buffalo ridge and fountain are solid choices and like 30-35 minutes apart I believe. The courses are polar opposites. Desert course compared to a lake course with green grass. I recommend playing fountain hills first, the earlier the better, followed by buffalo ridge. Buffalo ridge is purely disc golf course, where the fountain gets a lot of walkers and people gazing at the fountain and what nots. There are a few other courses close to buffalo ridge if your feeling another course. Buffalo ridge has 27 holes, make sure to read up on it since they added 9 holes recently between holes 6 and 7 or something like that. Also there are some amazing beer/ liquor stores in the area with excellent beers, most coming from Colorado. I'm sure you should have no problem meeting up with people, buffalo ridge is really nice is the evening

Great info. Does anyone want to play an early round at fountain hills? Or an afternoon at buffalo?

There arre reguklar rounds at Buffalo almost daily.
M & W Afternoon
T Night
Sat Morning
Sun morning
There is almost always someone from the Ridge/ADG Crew at the course.
What times are you looking at exactly?
I unfortunately am scaling back to once a week because of my shoulder.

BTW--check out azdisc.org for more Ridge info
