" This post is totally unrelated to the Nano whatsoever, so you might wanna go ahead and skip it if that's what you were hoping for"

I was reading a few post here and there where MVP discs were mentioned. something I hear a lot (I have myself never tried an MVP disc) is that the Gyro will reward good form and that it allows for the disc to stay on line longer and all the other barely magical goodness things we hear about them all the time.

Anyhow, I was wondering if MVP had plans on signing a big guy short term? I'm sure/I know a lot of very good disc golfers are using MVP, but it'd be really nice to see a top pro, those that are almost always in the first two cards of every tourney they play in throw some MVP disc...
Basically, we could see what the elite player could make of the Gyro.

I know there are some holes in the line up. Said pro would have to complement his bag with another company, which ain't a big deal imo (until MVP releases those "missing discs"»

Just to reiterate, I know some pros use MVP, but I'm talking players like Ricky, Will, Nikko, etc. that are touring all around the US all summer.

Another question :
Do you think, if MVP had a complete line up for pros, that their strategy as a business would include signing top tour pros?

for a young company I would say the guys have more $ to make in selling plastic than supporting pro's at this point but agree that it would be nice to see some top pro's throw MVP! I know many have tinkered with them but not sure on being bagged status lol.

It appears MVP are taking things in stride and not getting ahead of themselves. They are new as pointed out and so far they've really focused on trying to get everything right as they go along. Perhaps as their line-up fills out and production ramps-up, it would be worthwhile to find ways to increase exposure, but for now I think they have their hands full with current (and growing) demand just from being solid as they are. /02 cents.

Whoa! In the world of big-time lawsuits, this must be just about the biggest. LOL. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple has sued a small plastic injection molding company, Maple Valley Plastics (MVP) for copying "the name" of its IPOD NANO. This relates to MVP's newest product release which includes applied patents for the name NANO. The claim for intellectual property infringement is phrased as follows:

"Rather than innovate and develop its own brand and a unique style for its products, MVP chose to copy Apple's innovative style in these infringing products."
